The Accrediting Commission of Career Schools and Colleges Recognizes The New York School for Medical and Dental Assistants as a 2010 ACCSC “School of Excellence”

ACCSC has recognized The New York School for Medical and Dental Assistants as a 2010 ACCSC School of Excellence.  Through the School of Excellence Award, the Commission recognizes exemplary career schools and colleges for demonstrating a high-level commitment to the expectations and rigors of ACCSC accreditation; the delivery of quality educational programs and services and for demonstrating a high-level of student achievement.  To earn the ACCSC School of Excellence Award, the graduation and employment rates from all programs offered by the school must meet or exceed the average rates of graduation and employment among all ACCSC accredited institutions.

Only nine (9) ACCSC schools earned the ACCSC 2010 School of Excellence award.  The New York School for Medical and Dental Assistants is the only one in New York.  It is a significant achievement.

As a School of Excellence, The New York School for Medical and Dental Assistants will be honored at the 2010 ACCSC Professional Development Conference Award Ceremony to be held September 29 – October 1, 2010 at the Ritz Carlton in Philadelphia.  Donna Gamelin,

NYSDMA Executive Director of Admissions will accept the award on behalf of the school. 

ACCSC is a private, non-profit, independent accrediting agency recognized by the U.S. Department of Education as a reliable authority for the establishment of educational standards. ACCSC’s scope of recognition includes the accreditation of private, postsecondary, non-degree and degree-granting institutions that are predominantly organized to educate students for occupational, trade and technical careers.
