from your school? Yes. Regardless of which of our programs you graduate from,
after graduation,
you are eligible to sit for certification examinations. |

We have both full-time day and part-time evening programs. |

Do you have placement assistance?
We absolutely do. Our placement services are designed to assist
our graduates in obtaining employment in the area for which
they were trained. Our placement services include effective
interviewing seminars, resume preparation, interview preparation/mock
interviews; setting up supervised clinical internships and
job interviews. |

Is the school accredited and
licensed?
Yes. The New York School for Medical and Dental Assistants
is accredited by The Accrediting Commission of Career Schools
and Colleges of Technology, which is listed with the United
States Department of Education as a nationally recognized accrediting
agency. It is also licensed by
the New York State Department
of Education. |

Why should I go to a school that
is both licensed and accredited?
Because it means that the institution
offers programs of quality and
conducts its affairs with a high level of integrity and professionalism
as required by The Standards
of Accreditation. Although the New York School for Medical and Dental Assistants
is both licensed
and accredited, not all schools
or programs providing healthcare career
education are accredited. |
